The third issue in the RIPETIS / REITERATED series comes in two halves. Two volumes of Deep Earth remixes and reconstructions by the prolific Kostas Staikos, known better to the listening world as SUBSTAK. These 11 pieces are both subtle and drastic, sometimes shifting the rhythmic emphasis around, or coaxing out different harmonies with filters, and other times being completely mutated in Kostas' hands. Altogether they represent a very hi-fi listening experience, superb on headphones and heavy duty sound systems that can convey deep bass without distortion.
