    Assembled by hand, one copy at a time, in the White Pillar Workshop. Ten (10) white 5" recordable discs, duplicated and printed via an Imation D20, held securely inside individual white cardboard jackets with black text/white labels on the front covers. All ten discs are held together in a stack by two colored rubberbands and placed inside a ziplock bag that comes in one of five different colors. A rugged cardboard "faceplate" is also stamped, numbered and signed by the artist, to be placed on the top of the 10xCD-R stack.

Also includes TWO bonus CD-Rs not available in any other edition - SACRAL PHASE I (68:39) and SACRAL PHASE II (62:20) - totaling over 14 HOURS of deep Halifaxian interior landscaping!

After the years of work that resulted in two volumes of ambient compositions called STATUETTES, the curiosity to explore these recordings at the molecular level became too much to resist, and several different tangential sessions took place wherein the Statuettes material was melted down and reprocessed through several digital and analog systems, generative modular paths and FX processors, and used in performative ways reminiscent of the HALIFAXIAN CANTOS recordings. Casting shadows from the objects and structures built on STATUETTES, these SILHOUETTES are new lands and weather systems that recall their far off provenance alongside a Korg ES-1 sampler, a Memphis Blue Beat drum machine and a Behringer MS-1 analog monosynth.

These recordings were originally drafted simply for the pleasure of doing them, to satisfy impulses and curiosities that naturally spring up around my work as I close in on completing different projects, but I've now decided to collect them, gloss them over with a nice cozy mastering pass and release them here in an effort to raise a bit of cash for a new modular synthesizer case, as I've already outgrown my first two cases. Due to this, SILHOUETTES will only be produced in a physical edition of 10 copies, unless/until more copies are necessary.

NOTE: The special "boxed" edition of SILHOUETTES contains two additional discs of material - SACRAL PHASE I & II - sidereal recordings that were neither wholly separated from the recording process nor completely in line with the main "phases"
