The Cmx series exists to compile and arrange volumes of Coppice Halifax remix commissions, each album paired with a rarity of some kind - a compilation track, an alternative mix, an outtake - and the series has continued in this fashion since the first volume was released in 2008. Over ten years later, the current number of volumes is fifteen, which I felt necessitated a second retrospective box set, following the first collection that combined volumes one to seven across eight discs of audio. This second collection combines volumes eight to fifteen, again across eight discs, and for the occasion, a reissue of the first box set has been arranged to coincide with this new one.

Altogether, it's surreal to me, to look back and see the fruits of my labor, having worked with audio from so many fantastic producers, many of whom I had admired long before I was invited to remix their music. Of the forty-three tracks offered here, there are melodious braindance and ambient techno cuts, deep dub techno excursions, minimalistic ambient drifts and all shades of experimental electronic music. Volume ten is even a 70+ minute DJ set that was made to coincide with the tenth anniversary of Coppice Halifax itself, featuring many of my favorite remixes at that point in time. Just about every style I've explored on a CH album is represented here in some form, making the listening experience a consistent but varied one, a trip that I hope you'll enjoy taking as much as I have.
