A special edition for 4/20! Two white 90-minute ProGamma 2000 cassette tapes, repurposed from an unknown church, with red side labels, dubbed via a JVC KD-A11 deck, held inside a black cast-polypropylene box with a wraparound recycled brown cardstock insert bearing a glossy photographic print on the front cover and a custom text sticker on the back cover.

I've made only five of these sets, but if they fly out the door in no time, I'll probably do a few more to keep it fair for everyone. :)

In celebration of the Global Marijuanaut's Holiday (one of several affectations designated to 4/20 here at the Workshop), I've decided to revisit the Porch Hash Variations and Porch Compost EPs from two years ago, and "rehash" them by way of dubbing the audio to ProGamma 2000 90-minute cassette tapes, purchased second-hand from a church of some kind, who were apparently getting rid of their sermon recordings and "pastor training seminars."

These tapes, as you might imagine, are a bit worn out, and between their age and condition, and the act of dubbing the tracks via a JVC KD-A11 cassette deck with the meters just a little bit in the red, the music is transfigured once more into something warped and warbled, but still heavy and weird in the way that CH dubs often are. The digital audio offered here has been captured from one of the dubbed tapes, and the tapes themselves may or may not still contain audible remnants of religious zealotry. A lively analog accompaniment to a nightly hash pipe and a breezy Spring-greened porch.
